This is a plate with Micrococcus luteus滕黃微球菌 , the yellow colonies. While this is a good streak for isolation, the plate has been contaminated. The large "fuzzy" colonies are fungal colonies.
The lid may have been lifted too far away from the plate while streaking, or a draft may have caused the spores to fall into the plate. |
